Can you have a high performing wakesurfer that can handle a beating?!

My goal is to find a a wakesurfer that I can throw in a board bag, under a plane, handle a beating, and still be agile and maneuverable. Speed, weight, carvability, and all the factors that create a high-performing wake surfer are what I was considering while comparing the Hyperlite Time Machine versus the Buzzmatic.
