FOIL TIPS: How Moving the Mast Affects the Ride
FOIL TIPS: How Moving the Mast Affects the Ride
Published 7 months ago
In this video I run through the impact that Mast placement can have on your foiling experience (It's a big one).
This is just a quick overview of how forward/back movement of the mast in the track on the board will affect your ride. In a nutshell, the further forward it is the more responsive it will be, the further back on the board, the less lift you will feel. There is a lot of nuance to knowing when you will want to adjust your mast in your foiling journey, and the shas been something I have been figuring out as I go. Hope this video helps you with find and adjusting the optimal placement for your current and future riding level!
Thanks for watchingβοΈ
