If someone asks you tomorrow how many wakeparks there are the world, this is the new magic number: 1,143. That’s an increase of 91 new locations from our March 2021 analysis, and solid proof that cable wakeboarding continues to grow. There’s one caveat, however: not all of the 91 new locations were newly opened during 2021/22. Twenty-one of them were already existing, but were missed in our first overview. Here at Inside Wake, not a week goes by that we’re not updating our database with new wakeparks and additional details.
