Vissla Presents: The Creators Gathering

Once a year we gather up all our Creators and bring ‘em to an undisclosed location somewhere off the grid for a week of collaboration, innovation, art, music, and of course, plenty of surfing. This year was no different, save for getting our hands on a few of Miki Dora’s personal boards. The two logs served as the catalyst for shaping inspiration, after all, we were camped in the hills surrounding his home break: First Point. What transpired over the week was raw, creative freedom amongst a group of friends that are very rarely all in the same zip code, let alone the same shaping bay and makeshift laminating tent. We present to you The Creators Gathering: Malibu. We hope you enjoy it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Our Creators Gathering took place in early 2024 around the Malibu zone. While the community and friends that showed us so much hospitality are still reeling and healing from the recent devastating fires, we want to recognize the severity of the disaster that has stricken such a special place. In light of this, we are committed to donating a portion of proceeds from all sales on our site to @lafd Foundation during our film’s debut: 1/16 – 1/19.
